POSITION: Line Cook
REPORTS TO: Chef
HOURS: As Required
PRIMARY FUNCTION: To maintain a high standard of food quality, presentation and cleanliness in all food outlets of the kitchen.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure a high quality and presentation of all food.
- Follow portion and cost controls.
- Follow all recipes for food items.
- Maintain reasonable cooking time during line work.
- Follow health and safety regulations.
- Report all faulty equipment to supervisor.
- Work in direct coordination with all staff.
- Maintain a constant cleanliness of all kitchen areas including fridges and equipment.
- Follow all daily duty rosters.
- Follow policy manual.
- To perform other associated duties as assigned.
- One (1) or two (2) years of practical experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
