With Chef’s Tables in the mountains and in the city as well as a Food & Wine 101 class - get your plates and cutlery ready! Chef’s Tables are an opportunity for you to get intimate and interactive with the chefs behind CRMR’s scrumptious dishes. Inspired by the unique ingredients from CRMR properties the chef’s prepare a multi-course dinner expertly paired with wines from our boutique selection.

Do you ever find yourself thinking there must be an easier way to dice up an onion, or wishing you could make your own salsa and salad dressing? Have you spent hours in the kitchen only to end up wondering what kind of wine you should be serving with your culinary masterpiece?

If this sounds all to familiar then join Bin905 and CRMR at Home in the kitchen for an introductory cooking and wine pairing class.

  • April 10 – Chopping and Chutney class
  • April 17 – Salsa class – Raw and Cooked
  • April 24 – Emulsion and Vinaigrette class

We will be running 3 classes meant to be fun, entertaining and educational. They are designed to give you a little more prowess in the kitchen and a little more confidence when picking out the perfect wine pairing.

Time will literally fly by when Canada’s highest profile alpine ski racers breeze down the mountain at the the first world cup speed event of the season! The Lake Louise Winterstart World Cup  kicks off in Lake Louise this weekend. The fastest skiers in the world will compete in downhill and super-G races. For Canadian Alpine athlete this boats an amazing opportunity to win a World Cup on home soil! Enjoy free admission and cheer  on your favourite skiers with friends and family! Plus there will plenty of activities, giveaways, free hot chocolate, ice sculptures, and contests. Screaming kids?! They just add to the excitement and the skiers know no difference when crossing the finish line!

When: Saturday, November 24 – Men’s downhill (11:30 a.m.)
Sunday, November 25 – Men’s super-G (11 a.m.)
Tuesday, November 27 – Ladies’ downhill training (12:30 p.m.)

Thursday, November 29 – Ladies’ downhill training (12:30 p.m.)
Friday, November 30 – Ladies’ downhill (12:30 p.m.)
Saturday, December 1 – Ladies’ downhill (12:30 p.m.)
Sunday, December 2 – Ladies’ super-G (11 a.m.)

Deer Lodge in Lake Louise is approximately 10 minutes and Buffalo Mountain Lodge is approximately 40 minutes away from the hill! Cozy up by the fire after a day out in the snow  or soak in the hot tub and experience true mountain lodging!

Quick fact from Banff Lake Louise Tourism: The Lake Louise World Cup was the first downhill course outside of Europe to be invited to join the prestigious Club 5. The Club 5 is a union of leading alpine ski race organizers and designates Lake Louise as one of the 15 classic downhill courses in the world. Other famous Club 5 courses include Gardena/Groden, Italy; Kitzbühel, Austria; Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany; Val d’Isere, France, and Wengen, Switzerland.
