Directions
The three lodges of the Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts are located in Canadian National parks. Anyone entering the parks must purchase a park pass. The rate is $7.00 per day for 1 adult, $14 per day for a family or group, or $89.00 a year for a family or group. Find out more from the Parks Canada website.
Buffalo Mountain Lodge
In a quieter area of Banff, it is located on Tunnel Mountain Drive just a 3-minute drive or a 15 minute walk to the downtown area (1 ˝ drive from the Calgary International Airport).
Take the first exit into Banff, make a left off the Exit. Take the first road to the left, which runs between “ Banff Rocky Mountain Resort” This road is Tunnel Mountain Drive and you will see a sign that also says to “ Tunnel Mountain Campgrounds.” Follow the road for about 10 minutes passing the campgrounds and we are the second hotel on the left.
Deer Lodge
Just a 5-minute walk from Lake Louise itself (2 ˝ hour drive from Calgary International Airport).
Take the Only exit into Lake Louise. Make a left coming off the Exit onto Lake Louise Drive. Follow the road 4km’s all the way to the top of the hill, heading toward the Lake itself. Deer Lodge is the last lodge on the right before reaching Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and Beautiful Lake Louise.
Emerald Lake Lodge
25 minutes West of Lake Louise in Yoho National Park (3 hours from Calgary International Airport).
Take the Trans Canada Highway heading West towards Field and Golden BC. The turnoff to Emerald Lake Lodge is located 1 km on the highway past Field, BC. Follow the road for 6 km until you see a sign that says “ Overnight Guest Parking,” turn left into the parking lot. In the parking lot is a cabin, inside the cabin is a telephone and call up to the front desk for the Shuttle to come and pick up the guest.
