A side-step from the hustle and bustle of Banff, the lodge is located on Tunnel Mountain Road – just 3 minutes by car or 15 minutes by foot to the town centre. If you’re driving to Banff from the Calgary International Airport, the trip is a short 1.5 hours.
If heading westbound on the #1 Trans-Canada Highway (from Calgary or Canmore), take the first exit into Banff (Banff Minnewanka Loop exit), make a left off the exit and then take the first road to the left (Tunnel Mountain Road), which runs beside “Banff Rocky Mountain Resort”.
If you are coming eastbound on the #1 Trans-Canada Highway (from Lake Louise), take the second exit into Banff, and then take the first left onto Tunnel Mountain Road.
You will see a sign that leads to “Tunnel Mountain Campgrounds.” Follow the road for about 10 minutes passing the campgrounds and we are the second hotel on the left.

CRMR owns three mountain lodges in the Canadian National Parks. Anyone entering the parks must purchase a park pass. The rate is $9.80 per day for 1 adult, $19.60 per day for a family or group, or $136.40 a year for a family or group. Find out more from the Parks Canada website.
